Established on February 2 nd , 2005 , Taiwan Emission Trading Association (TETA) is a non-profit organization with a ultimate mission to reduce the global warming emission volume reduction by establishing Taiwan 's emission trading policy and to understand the international emission trading market.
1. Joined International Emission Trading Association (IETA) at the end of 2004.
2. Initial contact with Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) – the first organization executing actual emission trading international-wise – for collaboration opportunities to establish an international trading platform for Taiwan 's businesses.

February 2005, with emphasis on the largest Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) market – China , and the alliances with the CO2 department under China 's Ministry of Science and Technology, we are enthusiastic to develop the emission trading market platform for Taiwan 's industries.
We are concentrating on establishing an emission trading market platform to be the best solution for the reduction of global warming emission volume as well as a cost effective method for businesses to achieve the overall goal.
